If you want to contribute to DiVOC, become an angel.
Helping out as an angel is always a good way to get to know other people.

In order to volunteer, start by registering an account on the [[https://engelsystem.de/ptt/|Engelsystem]]. Then create your own [[ptt:engel-badge|badge]] and visit [[ptt:en:heaven#heaven|heaven]]. In the [[https://engelsystem.de/ptt/|Engelsystem]] you can take a look at the available tasks and may sign up yourself for open shifts.

In case you have volunteered at a previous event: No, you will not receive any goodies for completed shifts. Instead it is only about fun and interaction with other people this time. Therefore, there will also be shifts that provide you with a primarily social task. This is to allow you to try building a community during an online event. If you have ideas furthering that thought, please reach out to us.

We would like to welcome you in our lobby, where we'll also activate your account in the Engelsystem. You can find the lobby here:

The group of shift coordinators manages the shifts in the Engelsystem. We can help you with any questions or problems you may have w.r.t. your shift, angel-ing in general or related topics.

  - Visit Heaven's Lobby and say hello

    * A Welcome-Angel or Shift Coordinator will activate your account
  - Find an interesting shift in the [[https://engelsystem.de/ptt/|Engelsystem]]
    * Read the shift's description
    * Sign up for the shift
  - Do your shift
    * Please be punctual or otherwise communicate early with heaven
    * Be open-minded and have a friendly attitude
    * In case of any problems, contact heaven
  - Take a break
  - Repeat from step 4, but only as long as you're having fun
